Guild Roster Ranking System
Your rank in the guild's rosters will identify you by your time spent in Elysium, how active you are, and how much effort you put into making the guild a better place for us all to be. Ranking up in guild is at the discretion of the leadership, and will not be simply handed to you because you ask for it. You will have to - dare I say it - prove yourself if you wish to be a part of Elysium's core leadership. “One does not simply walk into Mordor”, after all! You may be demoted or promoted depending on whether or not you have been fulfilling the ideal role of the rank that you are.
Official Roster Rank List
Initiate: The Initiate is a brand new member to Elysium and is in the process of being acclimated to the guild. To be promoted from an Initiate to a Novice, you must have spoken to one of the leaders of Elysium and be approved for full guild membership. Your trial period in the guild will be be about 2 weeks before promotion.
Novice: The Novice is a fairly new member of Elysium, and is just being introduced to how things are run. Novices should be welcomed to the guild and observed for activity, friendliness, and should also be helped along as necessary. Everyone from Hands to Guardians should go out of their way to involve Novices. To be promoted from a Novice to a Hand, you must be active, friendly, and above all, love RP!
Hand: The Hand is a standard member of Elysium. Hands have demonstrated compatibility with the guild, and have taken an interest in our activities. Special note: automatic promotion to Hand may occur for various reasons, including long-time dedication to the guild or a friend/family member you or others can vouch for. It will be handled on a case-by-case basis.
Guardian: The Guardian is a veteran member of Elysium. Guardians do not have to demonstrate leadership traits or a desire to lead, but they must be a long-time member of the guild and exhibit friendliness, camaraderie, and a general desire to see the guild ‘keep going‘.
Shield: The Shields are part of the council of the guild and will report directly to the leadership. To become a Shield requires intense dedication, loyalty, and a great desire to lead the guild. A Shield must be ready to organize and host events and must take an interest in promoting roleplay. A Shield must also be willing to mediate disputes, decide promotions, handle vault contents responsibly, and most importantly, be an active and friendly source of help and advice. As a Shield, Elysium expects your best: your best behavior, your best leadership, and your best effort.
The Right Hand: Part of the leadership of Elysium. Currently occupied by Capella.
Exarch: Part of the leadership of Elysium. Currently occupied by Aedion and Khaixur.
